My job as a Thousand Oaks family photographer becomes pretty easy when the stars align like they did for this session. We chose this field because of it’s beautiful golden colors, but when we picked it I had only seen it in the morning. I figured that the light would be pretty in the late afternoon, but I had no idea just how perfect it would be. The combo of the gorgeous late day light, the late summer grass, and the fantastic outfit choices by this gorgeous mama-to-be made for one of my favorite family sessions to date!

Without a doubt, the most frequent question that I receive as a Thousand Oaks family photographer from my clients, is ‘what should we wear’? First and foremost, wear something that is comfortable and that you feel great in! I think that neutrals universally look good on everyone. Creams, whites, greys, blues, and khaki are classic and work in the vast majority of situations. Chambray is a classic look for dads and always looks great in photos!
