I absolutely love being a Camarillo newborn photographer, and this is especially true when I have the opportunity to get to know a family watch them grow. Karen and Tommy have been a couple since high school. They were married at Calamigos Ranch, which is why they chose the same setting for their Malibu maternity session.
Karen and I met working on weddings together years ago. She is a hair stylist and, of course, I’m the photographer. We became fast friends and I have been blessed to get to know this amazing family. Karen still does my hair to this day…love her!
For this sweet newborn session we opted to use my natural light portrait studio in Camarillo. At only 6 days old Valentina stole the show! She is surrounded by so much love, care, and admiration by her parents and these emotions are clearly evident in the photos. Tommy was so enamored with his new daughter…it was beautiful to watch. I’m looking forward to capturing all of the seasons of this gorgeous family for years to come!
