{Welcome Home!} Camarillo Family Photographer

Get ready for a long post!  I just couldn’t tell the story of this reunion in one or two images.  Meet Jack and Grace…

Jack is not quite two, and Grace was about 4 weeks when these images were taken.  Her Dad was deployed when she was born and the day he came home from the Middle East was the day that they first met.  This was my first reunion session with Op Love (its called a fly-in session for obvious reasons…you’ll see!) and to be able to capture this moment for such a beautiful family was truly a joy.

The feeling in the air was electric; full of emotion, expectancy, and love.  There were thoughtful patriotic detail put into place by a group of women who were anxiously waiting for their husbands to come home.

Jack and his beautiful mama…

Waiting for the big moment…

Almost time…

I love the look on her face in the image on the right.  So full of happiness as her family is about to be complete…

The first time he saw his daughter…

Can you even believe Grace’s smile in these?

…and love…

A huge congratulations to the Barry family!  I am so glad that I was able to document such an amazing time in your lives, and I hope that you love your images….I loved taking them!!

P.S….if you or someone you know is in the military and would like to have photographs taken at no cost, please refer to the Op Love site for details.  There are quite a few local photographers who offer this service.  If you would like me to document your family’s reunion please contact me as soon as possible.  I am only able to offer a limited number of these sessions each year and my calendar books months in advance.

I'm so glad you're here!
